Why the Crown of Thorns

If you are looking for something to reassure you and encourage you to be more optimistic for you and your families future in todays confusing and troubled world. Look no further than the Life of this young man called Jesus of Nazareth, who in  his short life, gave us the way to live our lives, and the way to cope with life’s up and downs, disappointments and sadness. Most importantly he gave us values to live by and spiritual guidance, fulfilment and  spiritual enlightenment.

Some journalists are saying we are now living in a post Christian world. Are we happy to accept that? Can we as individuals do anything about it?

If you are young and anxious about your future and that of our world. Find Jesus, talk to him, he will help to increase your own feelings of self worth, self confidence and with your daily battles.

If you are homeless, lonely and frightened for your future, try and find Jesus, a relationship with him will increase your self confidence. He is not going to find you a home over night, but he will be with you in your daily struggles.

If you can walk with Jesus as a companion in your daily life… your relationship with him, will make sure you will not easily be making any decision that is wrong for you or harmful to your future fulfilment and happiness.

False prophets abound today, among them so called “progressive thinkers” so it’s easy to be missled. If you can spare the time to get to know Jesus and his teachings, you will have a friend for life and someone who can stop you going down very destructive emotional dead ends.

By buying a crown of thorns, you are recognising and celebrating the life and words of Jesus. He is an unequalled example for Seekers of the truth, courage, honesty, spiritual fulfilment, bringing meaning to our lives and compassion for our fellow human beings. His values are our values, which have been for centuries a bedrock of our democratic western way of life.

Important. "Religious liberty, freedom of expression, and free speech, which we enjoy today has been hard won over many centuries. We cannot, will not, must not let it be curtailed".

‘Behold I stand at the door and knock,
If anyone hears my voice and opens the door.  —-  I will come in and sup
With them and they with me’.

Revelations Chapter 3 verse 20.

Be strong in your faith in Jesus, it will give you strength every day in return.

Jesus Christ is the link between all believers in him. That in itself creates respect and love for each other even if total strangers. Find this and you will be content.
