You do not have to be a religious person or a member of any particular Christian Church to want to buy a Crown of Thorns™ jewel, because it stands for so much at risk today in our traditional way of life, including the safety of our communities our children, our values, our inherited certainties. For instance “the Truth is the only thing worth hearing“!

But for me it is also a powerful symbol of all that is so precious to us in this country — so precious and yet so threatened by circumstances outside our immediate control.

I am referring to our British traditions, our values, our customs, our wonderful cathedrals, our village churches, our wonderful music, our rule of law and safety, even our pubs — and most importantly not forgetting our age old Christian way of life our beliefs and our Christian religion.
